Six Months to Understand Your Stress and Build a Life That Can Hold It

Private 1:1 coaching for high school and college-age teens and young adults ready to get to the root of their stress and build habits that stick.

What Life Looks Like Right Now

  • You know exactly what you're supposed to do when stress hits. Doing it in the moment is a different story.

  • Between school, practice, and everything else, there's no time left over for you.

  • Stress hits and you're left to handle it on your own until your next appointment.

  • You've tried to explain what's really going on, but a fifteen-minute visit never leaves enough room for it.

What Life Could Look Like Instead

  • You've got a plan built around your real schedule.

  • You stop dreading Sunday nights because you already know how the week's going to go.

  • You recognize your stress signals early before they take over.

  • You've got someone to check in with between appointments, so you don't have to handle stress alone.

  • You know what to do the moment stress shows up.

Waiting for Things to Get Easier Can Keep You Stuck

Maybe you’ve tried the meditation app, a new workout routine, or the latest self-care tip. Maybe therapy or medication has been helpful, but you’re still struggling to put the everyday pieces together. You keep thinking, “Once I get through this week, I’ll have time to figure it out.”

But then another week begins. Stress can build one hurried morning and one sleepless night at a time, until feeling on edge starts to feel normal.

And while you’re busy trying to get through it all, it can be hard to enjoy dinner with friends without thinking about your to-do list, explore what you want for your future, or simply feel present in the life you’re living.

You don’t have to keep putting your well-being on hold until the next break in your schedule. We can start building a plan that supports you in the life you have right now, one realistic step at a time.

Life's lifing, and you don't have to face it alone.

Intentional Resilience Coaching

A private 1:1 coaching program that helps teens and young adults understand their stress, build real habits, and feel steady again, without doing it alone.

You’ve probably been told to “get more sleep,” “eat healthier,” and “manage your stress.” Knowing that is one thing. Figuring out how to make it happen while juggling classes, friendships, your health, and everything else life throws your way is another.

Over six months, we’ll work through four phases together: identifying what’s contributing to your stress, learning how to reframe and regulate, building habits that make you stronger,
and practicing how to carry those tools with you after our work together ends.

We’ll get into the specifics: sleep and recovery, nutrition, movement, mindset and self-talk, boundaries, and more, based on what’s going on in your life right now and what’s most important to you.

And you’ll have someone to reach between sessions, so a hard moment doesn’t have to wait until your next appointment.

This is for you if you’re…

  • Feeling like a walking hot mess some days, even when you’re doing “all the right things.”

  • Tired of hearing the same generic advice, like “just relax” or “manage your stress better,” without knowing what that actually looks like.

  • Running into roadblock after roadblock when you try to make a change stick, then feeling guilty when it doesn’t.

  • Looking for more time, follow-up, and support as you put helpful advice into practice, with someone you can reach between sessions instead of waiting until your next appointment.

Together, we can work toward…

  • Understanding what contributes to your stress and recognizing when it’s starting to build.

  • Creating a plan around the life you’re living right now.

  • Working through challenges with someone in your corner between sessions.

  • Feeling more like yourself again, or quieting some of the noise so you can figure out who you are in the first place.

A Note From Me to You

I grew up with anxiety, though I didn’t have a name for it at the time. Looking back, I can see how early the signs began. But for years, feeling on edge was so familiar that I thought it was just normal.

After I was diagnosed in college, conversations about managing my anxiety often focused on therapy or medication. Both helped me, but I still found myself trying to figure out the everyday pieces on my own: how to care for myself, build routines that supported me, and navigate stress when it showed up again.

Years later, as a pediatric nurse practitioner, I cared for a teen who reminded me how hard that gap can be. She knew the advice: get more sleep, eat regular meals, and make time to recharge. She wanted to make those changes, but every time we talked, another roadblock had come up. Her schedule was full, and there wasn’t enough time in an appointment to help her figure out how to make those changes work in her actual life.

I remember wishing I could offer more time and support between visits as she navigated those challenges. Not just another piece of advice, but someone in her corner to help her put it into practice.

That’s why I created Intentional Resilience Coaching. It’s the kind of personalized, whole-person support I wish I’d had earlier, and the kind of support I wanted for teens like her.

If you’re ready for a plan that fits your life and someone in your corner as you put it into practice, I’d love to connect.

FAQ

Isn’t this just advice I already know?

You’ve probably heard plenty of advice about sleep, food, and managing stress. The tricky part is often figuring out how to make it work in your actual life.

That’s where coaching comes in. We’ll create an individualized plan together, work through roadblocks, and adjust it as life changes. You’ll also have compassionate accountability and support between sessions when you need help putting it into practice.

Why not just see a therapist instead?

Therapy can be a valuable source of support, and coaching isn’t a replacement for it. Depending on your needs and the therapist’s approach, therapy may offer space to process emotions, explore past experiences, address mental health concerns, and develop skills for navigating everyday life.

My coaching focuses on helping you put health-supporting habits and practical strategies into action in your day-to-day life. Together, we might work on sleep, routines, mindset, boundaries, and goals, with a plan that fits your schedule and support as you put it into practice.

If you’re already working with a therapist, coaching can complement the support you’re receiving.

What about medication?

Medication can be a helpful part of someone’s care but it’s worth exploring with your doctor or medical provider if that's the right call for you. Medication may be just one piece of the bigger picture. One of my mentors once described it as taking a single brick out of a backpack full of them. It lightens the load a little, but you're still carrying the rest, and you're still learning how to handle it. That's the part this program is built for. Coaching offers support with the everyday habits and skills that contribute to your health and well-being, whether or not medication is part of your care.

I’m already so busy with school, sports, and everything else. How am I supposed to fit this in?

That’s exactly why we build your plan around the life you’re living now. We’ll look at your schedule and priorities together and find realistic steps that fit, instead of adding an impossible routine to an already-full plate.

Will my parent know everything I share with you?

If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian will need to join our initial call and agree to coaching.

Beyond that, your comfort matters. Before coaching begins, we’ll discuss together what level of parent involvement feels supportive and how communication will work.

If I’m concerned that you may be in danger of harming yourself or someone else, I’ll need to share that concern with your parent or guardian so you can get appropriate support.
